How to Install APKs

Installing apps from outside the Google Play Store(known as external sources) is easy. Follow the steps below to install APK files safely.

1. Enable Unknown Sources

Android blocks outside apps by default.

Go to:
Settings → Security → Install Unknown Apps → Enable for your browser

or newer versions:
Settings → Apps → Special App Access → Install Unknown Apps → Allow

2. Download the APK File

Visit Apktio.com, open the app page and press Download. Once the download completes, tap the APK file.

3. Tap “Install”

A confirmation box will appear. Press Install and wait for the installation to complete.

4. Open the App

Once installed, tap Open to start using the app.
